2. Introduction:

3. Energy Meter:
An electric meter or energy meter is a device that measures the amount of electrical energy supplied to or produced by a residence , business or machine.
It is of two types
(a) residential energy meter
(b) industrial energy meter

4. Inverter:
An inverter is an electrical device that converts direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC).
The inverter performs the opposite function of a rectifier.

5. UPS:
An Uninterruptible power supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, provides emergency power.
The UPS consists of three main
components:
1. Rectifier
2. Battery
3. Inverter

6. TELECONFERENCING
Teleconferencing means telephone meeting among two or more participants through a telecommunication medium. It is a generic term for linking people between two or more locations by electronics.

7. Audio Conferencing
Audio Conferencing is a two way voice communication among multiple locations in real time. This generally operates through public telephone network. Individual microphones for participants and external speakers at each location are employed in professional systems to carry out conferences in hands free manner.

8. video conference
A video conference is a set of interactive telecommunication technologies which allow two or more locations to interact via two way video & audio transmissions simultaneously. It differs from videophone in that it is designed to serve a conference rather than individuals.
