1.DEFINITION
An audio visual aid is an instructional device in which the message can be heard as well as seen.
Audio visual aids are the devices which can be used to make the learning experience more concrete ,more realistic & more dynamic.

6.CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF GOOD AV AIDS –

- The material should be appropriate to the learner according to age or intelligence level.
- Physical condition of the material should be satisfactory.
- It should arouse critical thinking in the learner mind.
- It should have the ability to improve human relationship.
- It should have worth with time & efforts involved.
- It should be able to develop positive interest in the learner.
